Gerald Selig & Andreas Mayerhofer - Introspection
The musician´s "longtime relationship" - documented in bands such as
That´s Jazz Quartet and Quintet or Dirt Stream - now led to a duo
collaboration entitled "introspection" (which is a composition by
Thelonious Monk).
Due to variety of instrumentation (tenorsax, sopranosax, clarinet,
bassclarinet,altoflute and piano) the large bandwidth of sound is the
basis for the interpretation of compositions from Bartok, Strayhorn,
Scriabin, Monk, a.o........
